Sheppys Cider With Honey Review

Sheppys Cider With Honey Another cider review from Sheppys this is their Cider with Honey which I picked up in my local Dobbies Garden Centre.

This was a cider that was suggested to me to pick up and I was really excited to see it locally and as a huge fan of honey this really appealed to me.

The nose was almost a disappointment as it wasn't as sweet as I was expecting but the palate is outstanding sweet juicy and full of yummy goodness. If you see it pick it up ... I will definitely be getting more.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Tangy and sweet Apple notes, slightly like stewed apples being prepared for apple pie, then a kick of fresh honey and beeswax. For it being cider with honey it's not as sweet on the nose as I expected.

Palate

Oh A lovely sweet and gentle cider, the honey sweetness has came through much better now, the apples are there but gentle sweet baby apples coated in runny honey, gorgeous.

Finish

Sweet, with a slightly tangy hint
