Bruichladdich Micro Provenance Cask 543 Review

Bruichladdich Micro Provenance Cask 543 Another from the Bruichladdich Micro Provenance tasting this cask 543 is from 2003 and matured entirely in a port cask.

This is outstanding sweet, hints of smoke in there a little, lots of fruits, berries and other sweet notes, and lots of fruit crumble notes there too.

I need to get a bottle of this for sure.

You can pick this up directly from the distillery online shop.

Thanks again to Bruichladdich for including us on this #LaddieMP3 tasting

Tasting Notes & Details

Ooooh this is woody, definitely berries, blackberries, blueberries, red currants, deep rich fruit, caramel and lemon mousse, chocolate mousse, dried fruits, molasses and Christmas cake spices, dry hay bales and green vegetables, hints of lightly smoked trout in the background also

Palate

Tangy fruits and mixed berries, more Christmas cake and the spices therein, fruit crumble, almost sugary coated crumble topping, black cherry, tomato plant leaf, molasses and hints of grated ginger.

Really thick chewy, thick toffee pennies melted over dried fruit crumble.
