Professor Cornelius Ampleforth / Professor Cornelius Ampleforth

Professor Cornelious Ampleforths Rumbullion Review

Professor Cornelious Ampleforths Rumbullion This lovely drink is based on high strength Caribbean rum, Madagascan vanilla and zesty orange peel.

Oh wow, this is fabulous amazingly sweet with vanilla, tangy oranges on the palate and oh my this is so drinkable.

I can't believe it's taken me so long to get round to this, off to order more of this wish I'd bought a bottle not a dram

Get over to Master of Malt and get one for yourself now, you wont regret it

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Oh wow this is interesting, I really wasn't expecting it to,be anything like this, there's sweetness rather than the bitter orange peel that I thought would be there, tangy sweet molasses, Demerara sugar and vanilla sugar, there's spices that remind me of mulled wine without the tannic wine notes, very enticing.

Palate

Sweet sugary and hints of dark spices, oh yummy, I could sip this all night long, the orange comes though much stronger on the palate, it's tangy Campari with iced gems, yum

Finish

Sweet, tangy, sugary, yummy
