Thatchers 2013 Vintage Oak Aged Somerset Cider Review

Thatchers 2013 Vintage Oak Aged Somerset Cider Another Cider review on the blog, this time from Thatchers. This is the 2013 vintage picked up from my local supermarket.

I'm loving having more proper Apple based ciders than the usual sweet fruit flavoured Swedish ciders.

I really like this, there's a lovely gentle note of yoghurt, it's grown up yoghurt though not the same munch bunch fromage frais that I've had some other ciders.

I really enjoyed this and have had a look at the Thatchers website and will definitely to be picking up more from their range.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Lots of sweet apple notes, tangy Bramley Apple notes, then blush rosy red apples, a slight tang of sour sweets like haribo tangtastics, sour apple sweets.

Palate

Apple muller yogurts, creamy and soft but with a tang of fresh apples and a hint of fizz

Finish

Tangy and creamy, this is very tasty
