Compass Box The Peat Monster Review

Compass Box The Peat Monster I've tried this whisky a good number of times before including at the World Record Attempt at 4:30am and i was too tired to do notes. However after a bit of joking on Twitter, Chris from Compass Box was kind enough to send me a sample.

Although Smoky, but BBQ Smoky rather than just peat smoke, this lovely dram also has a much more subtle and fruity side.

More Compass Box Whiskies are being sampled as part of the Compass Box Tweet Tasting from The Whisky Wire on 29th August 2012 which you can follow on twitter by searching for #CBTT2
