Isabela Cream Review

Isabela Cream I’ve been drinking whisky, including sherried whiskies for over 20 years but i’ve never really had sherry on it’s own other than a wee glass of Oloroso at a Highland Park tasting.

As part of the Sherrynotes (@sherrynotes) #SherryTT twitter tasting this Cream Sherry was the fourth Sherry of the evening.

And i could drink this one all night long, sweet, but not too sweet, hints of spice and a long sweet, bot dry, finish, oh yes please, a bottle of this for Christmas day i think.

Thanks to Sherrynotes (@sherrynotes) for including me on this tasting.

Tasting Notes & Details

this i like the nose of a lot, sweeter, caramel, treacle scones, still hints of salted nuts, maple sap, thick and jam like, an earthy note in the background but the best nose so far.

oh that sweetness took me by surprise compared to the others, damn i like this.... A LOT, sweet figs and plum jam, a faint edge of spice but nothing too much, wow just wow

sweetness but not too much, i like this a lot
