Compass Box This is Not a Luxury Whisky Review

Compass Box This is Not a Luxury Whisky I've deliberately decided not to read much about this whisky before trying it, there's always something intriguing about Compass Box whiskies and I've never had one I haven't enjoyed, here's hoping this is no different.

Oh I absolutely love this, there's such a lovely beeswax note, and lovely sweet meaty note with amazing haribo tangtastics and syrup, this is a fabulous dram, I really want a bottle of this.

Yet again Compass Box rock it.

Thanks to Compass Box for the official sample

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Sweet and waxy, there's lovely tangy sweet and bitter haribo tangtastics, then there's a lovely meaty woody note here too, gentle creamy notes, light pears in syrup, cherries from tinned fruit salad and some wood sap with beeswax.

Palate

Haribo tangtastics, waxy orange and lemon peel, cracked peppercorns and tinned fruit salad in light syrup, very moreish, meaty and woody

Finish

Lovely sweetness, cherries and syrup, haribos too
