Bruichladdich Classic Laddie Scottish Barley Review

Bruichladdich Classic Laddie Scottish Barley I'm a huge fan of Bruichladdich and anything that uses local or Scottish barley as its base is a good thing for me.

Sweet, caramel, Edinburgh rock and lovely tasty biscuity notes that really works well together, this is a cracker of a dram and does not taste like 50% so beware this is a dangerously drinkable dram.

You can purchase from Master of Malt of directly from Bruichladdich

Thanks to Bruichladdich for the official sample

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Initially quite a floral note that comes through, then a lovely sweet kick of freshly scraped Madagascan vanilla, with a dab of custard cream biscoff spread and a hint of chalky Edinburgh rock.

Palate

Sweet chalky floral notes, like a bag of floral gums kicked with crushed Edinburgh rock, sweet vanilla and caramel mix with Demerara sugar and tasty biscuity notes.

Finish

Custard cream biscoff spread and caramel sauce with floral gums
