Benromach 15 Year Old Review

Benromach 15 Year Old Benromach seem to be doing everything right at the moment, their updated 10 year old is getting a lot of attention and the 100 proof version is an outstanding dram, with increased capacity, I believe, increasing the workforce by 50% to three they really are producing cracking drams in a craft way.

Oh wow this takes on what the Benromach guys are doing with the 10 and then rocks it right up sweet street to my house, it's a sweet, smoky, lovely, fruity, dram that you should buy a bottle of .... Now!

Thanks to Benromach for the official sample

Tasting Notes & Details

The woodland campfire smoke from the 10 year old comes through still but is joined by a splash of fresh fruit salad with melon and apple being the ones I found strongest, vanilla fudge, caramel sauce and a hint of butterscotch angel delight rounding things off,

Much sweeter than I was expecting, the smoke lingers in the foreground but doesn't get in the way of the sweetness, honey and vanilla, creamy butterscotch, Apple stroodle and hints of pastry, very yummy.

Easy going, sweet, fresh, yummy,
