Whyte & Mackay / Whyte & Mackay

Whyte & Mackay 30 Year Old Review

Whyte and Mackay 30yr Sometimes you get to sample something that is very special, at Whisky Fringe i managed to try the Whyte and Mackay 30 Year old and was blown away.

I've had some big expensive and opulant whiskies in my time but this was truely something special, as smooth a whisky as ever i have sampled and it just radiated quality.

It is no wonder that this stunning dram won the ISC ‘best blended whisky in the world’ in 2009 and twice won Gold ‘best in class’ in the IWSC awards.

Don't just take my word for it though, pop over to Master of Malt and buy a bottle to try.

Tasting Notes & Details

Subtle, in fact very subtle on the nose, dried fruits and vanilla with floral gums and candied oranges and lemons

Floral and fruity, definite oranges but with some great wood attibutes

super smooth, the stuff of dreams
