Glen Grant / Scotch Malt Whisky Society

SMWS 9.77 A Distinguished Gentleman Review

The Scotch Malt Whisky SocietyWhen my good friend Richard (@richiyc) joined the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society and suggested sharing his membership pack drams i was more than happy to oblige, so starting with this 9.77 A Distinguished Gentleman we had ourselves a wee tasting.

I'm planning again to get to over 100 The Scotch Malt Whisky Society reviews again in 2015 and this is no9 of that.

Waxy, oily, leathery, creamy, woody it has it all, it really is a cracking example from this distillery and a great introduction to the society.

You can view all of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society drams i've reviewed in 2014 by clicking here and for all the ones in 2015 by clicking here.

If you are a whisky fan you really should consider joining The Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
