Oban Distillers Edition 1997 Review

Oban DEOn a recent post I mentioned a number of distilleries I had yet to review on this blog and Johnnie (@JohnnieStumbler) kindly offered to send me some samples for some of them to try including this Oban Distillers Edition 1997 bottling.

A really interesting dram with a mix of oak, spice, breadcrumbs, syrup, marshmallows and sweet waxy fruits it's very easy to drink and an fabulously creamy, waxy dram to drink, really enjoyed this.

You can pick up a bottle of the 1998 (or some of the older 1995/1996) from The Whisky Exchange

Thanks again to Johnnie (@JohnnieStumbler) for the sample you can check out his blog at The Nosing Arse
