Glendronach 20yr cask 3400 (Abbey Whisky Exclusive) Review

Glendronach 1994I absolutely love getting samples where the deep dark colour of the whisky makes me smile and this Abbey Whisky exclusive Glendronach 20 Year Old, from cask 3400 distilled in 1994, did just that.

The guys at Abbey Whisky are fantastic at selecting casks exclusively for their site and ones they have picked have been amongst my favourite ever whiskies, and this is no different.

It has that stewed fruits note that you would expect from a PX cask Glendronach but has a slight meaty note also that is totally teriyaki chicken, thick, sweet, sticky yummy. This truly is a delight to drink and a definite winter warmer of a dram.

Thanks again to Abbey Whisky for the official sample.
