Springbank 17yr Port Cask (One Off) Review

SpringbankBack in August when on my #IslayRoadTrip with Steve (@steveprentice) from Somerset Whisky Blog and Jon (@dvdbloke) from Scotch and Sci-fi we were lucky enough to have a look in the cage at the back of the Cadenheads shop in Campbeltown where i spotted this little beauty.

I love port matured and finished whisky and had this in my hand unfortunately stopping Jon (@dvdbloke) from getting it, there was nothing comparible (these are one-offs remember) and so Jon and I decided to go halves on the bottle.

It's a hugely flavoursome dram and one i wish i had 3 or 4 bottles of never mind just a single one, or half of one, dirty, oily, sweet, fruity, spicy it has it all. if only this was available to buy again.
