Cu Dhub Black Whisky Review

Cu DhubThis Cu Dhub (Black Dog) is an interesting beast, seriously carameled to get that dark colour this really isn't great stuff, really bitter and full of quite of sweetness on the nose.

It's the palate though, it's just really bitter, quite unbearably so, a gimmic this is but a whisky worth buying and drinking it is not.

If you want to waste your cash Master of Malt will accept some pennies for a bottle.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

a really sweet treacley nose on this like a treacle toffee covered banana with green not ripe bananas and more tropical fruits plums, mango and a touch of pineapple.

Palate

bitter, really bitter, like dark chocolate but without the cocoa none of the fruits from the nose

Finish

Bitter, just bitter.
