SMWS 100.11 Picnic Party Dram Review

The Scotch Malt Whisky SocietyBack in the early part of 2014 I stated that i wanted to review 100 The Scotch Malt Whisky Society expressions in 2014, and I thought recently that I wouldn't make it but this 94th post (thanks to Barry (@thewhiskyphiles) from The Whisky Philes blog) and others he has passed me samples of means it will happen before Wednesday evening.

Masses of toffee covered bramley apples in prune juice and oaky pencil shavings in here, it's a really interesting mix of fruit and oak that works really well and makes me want to try more from this distillery.
