Benromach 2000 Port Finish Review

BenromachI really like sweet Port finished whiskies so when i noticed this Benromach 2000 port finish it jumped up my to get list and a bottle was purchased.

Distilled in 2000 and bottled 2012 this was finished for an almighty 8 years in port pipes giving it a real pink whisky glow, t's full of jammy fruits and sweetness and at 45% abv is exceedingly drinkable, a bit too much so.

Sold out everywhere i look this one looks to be an auction purchase to get a bottle now, which is a shame as i really want another.
