Label 5 12 Year Old Review

Label 5I'd heard good things about this blended whisky Brand which seems to only be available in France, or from some very specialist shops or at the Glen Moray distillery in Elgin, who have the same owners, and especially as their bottling plant is 5 minutes from my house.

After discussing with Iain (@iain_g_allan) the Visitor Centre Manager at Glen Moray how much i was interested in label 5 and had arranged a bottle of the Classic Black from France Iain let me know that he had some at the distillery and would send me a sample of the 12 year old.

Seriously sweet and fruity this is a fabulous dram with lots of tinned pears in syrup and those cherries from the tinned fruit salad hiding in there. a very easy drinking dram, this would make a fabulous summer refreshing dram to have whilst waiting on the BBQ cooking.

Thanks again to Iain (@iain_g_allan) for the generous sample.
