SMWS 76.110 Summer Fruit Salad With Cream Review

The Scotch Malt Whisky SocietyAnother from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society whisky for a year selection from this year as June's bottle was this 76.110 Summer Fruit Salad With Cream .

Really fruity and spicy but the big note here is a butterscotch and whipped double cream note that really comes out strongly in the nose, it's a delicious summery trifle without the custard..

If you are a whisky fan you really should consider joining The Scotch Malt Whisky Society.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Light and creamy with vanilla and hints of butterscotch angel delight, light oaky notes that turn a little spicy with nutmeg or cinnamon then a tinned fruitiness comes through lightly in the background

Palate

Oak wood spices combine with tinned fruit salad and hints of strawberry and pepper coulis, there's a salted butter note in there too that creeps in

Finish

Oaky and drying
