Tomatin 25 Year Old (distilled 1978) Review

Tomatin 25 The Tomatin 30 year Old is one of my all time favourite drams so when my good friend Adrian (@mynameisgone) from Whisky Chronicle offered me a sample of the Tomatin 25 year old a while i back i jumped at the chance.

Unfortunatly it fell down the cracks of the samples i am getting through and has sat for a while but i finally got round to reviewing it and what a dram it is.

this is the version distilled in 1978 not the more recent release which also had 35cl bottles, and it's fabulous.

It's dusty, spicy, woody and filled with tropical fruits, it's just the right mix for me and i love it.

Thanks again to Adrian (@mynameisgone) for the sample.
