Balblair / Balblair

Balblair 1975 Review

This is the second of a couple of reviews of Balblair Whisky after taking part in a Tweet Tasting organised by Alembic Comms who are doing a grand job promoting both Whisky and Beer in Scotland.

This second sample (the first one was a Balblair 2002) is the simply stunning balblair 1975, a mash of 7 100% American Oak Sherry casks laid down for sleep in the same year i was born.

My tasting notes are shown below but i Love this whisky and desperately want a bottle.
