Cameronbridge / Wm Cadenhead

Cameronbridge 19 Year Old (Cadenheads) Review

CameronBridge 19yrNothing beats having a lovely rare bottle and this is certainly one its a Cameronbridge 19 year old single cask grain whisky bottled by Cadenheads and this was a 20cl cask end from it.

Filled with lots of vanilla, floral and sweet sugary notes this really is a lovely dram and one i wish i'd managed to get a much bigger bottle of.

If you happen to be in Edinburgh you could do much worse than pop passed the cadenheads shop in the Canongate and check out their selection.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

freshly scraped vanilla pods mixed with demerera sugar and a little carnation condensed milk as if you were making some lovely caramel some floral notes, parma violets and sherbert dib dabs

Palate

quite smooth considering the ABV, sweet demerera sugar and caramel, sherbert dib dabs again and some soor plooms with a touch of spice.

Finish

sweet and sour sweets, with sherbert and sugar with a touch of spice
