Gentle fresh fruit salad in sweet golden syrup comes in to begin with along with dunnage warehouse malty notes that turn almost smoky with definite hints of oak woodiness
Time for yet another fabulous Wemyss Malts dram this time with the seriously lovely Melon Vine, a 1988 vintage dram from the Aberfeldy distillery.
SWeet Juicy, fresh fruits and fresh grated ginger mix with dusty vegetables and deep malty notes to produce a really rounded single cask single malt that tastes almost like it was engineered from several casks it's that balanced.
Highly recommended and available to buy from Master of Malt this really is an intriguing dram.
Thanks to
Wemyss Malts for the official sample.
