Wemyss Malts Oysters with Lemon Pearls Review

Toms Whisky Reviews This Oysters with Lemon Pearls is yet another superb single cask example from Wemyss Malts.

Combing the sweet fruity almost chocolatey notes that i love from Bunnahabhain with some lovely fresh lemony seafood this is a cracker of a dram that i wouild happily drink over and over and over again.

If this is right up your street why not pick up a bottle from Master of Malt.

Many thanks to Wemyss Malts for the official sample.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Oh this is lovely there's a lovely lemongrass / lemon sole fish note that I remember from my mum cooking it in the house, there's a puff of gentle smoke but it's only like a gentle cedar wood kindling just beginning

Palate

There's some lovely juicy fruit chewing gum in here with some lemongrass and seafood notes with gentle sweet toffee notes too

Finish

Juicy and lemon seafood
