SMWS 33.76 - A civilised Scout Camp Review

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society This The Scotch Malt Whisky Society 33.76 - A civilised Scout Camp was one that Yoav (@yoavgel), Chris (@chrismiles303), Erik (@thewhiskykiwi) and I selected as part of the #SocietyShare (groups of 4 or more pay £35 each for a bar meal plus a total of 3x200ml bottles to be split between the group with a dram from each and the rest of the 200ml - usually 100ml if you're a group of 4 - going home with you)

Very unlike the normal ashiness of this distillery it is lemony and almost lemon juice coated seafood with an earthiness, lovely stuff

Another reason to join the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society

Tasting Notes & Details

Soapy bubbles with citrus notes of lemon and pink grapefruit before fresh vanilla pod and gentle notes of sweet bananas before the earthy sweet smoke kicks in and takes over

Lots of chalky parma violets with lemongrass and fresh lemon juice mixing with earthy smoke

Fresh and lemony smoke with hints of seaweed
