Bowmore Black Rock Review

Bowmore Black Rock This Bowmore Black Rock is part of the new Travel Retail series from Bowmore.

From Bowmore"At the heart of the range is Black Rock, an incredibly rich single malt named after the jaggy outcrop that's clearly visable in the bay across from the distillery, which has stood on the shores of Loch Indaal since 1779. Matured predominately in first-fill ex-Spanish sherry casks, the result is a delicious balance of peat smoke, treacle toffee and orange."

I really enjoyed this one, the light smoke and sherry influence work well, for the price (around £45 for a litre) is't a cracker too.

Many thanks to Bowmore for the official sample.
