Raise a glass to Tamdhu’s new 15 Year Old
Tamdhu Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky has launched a new Limited annual Release 15 Year Old to complement its expanding collection in domestic and travel retail markets globally.
The new 15 Year Old single malt created for specialist domestic retailers reflects Tamdhu’s commitment to producing ‘only the best’ sherry cask matured whisky.
Bottled at 46% ABV, Non-chillfiltered and natural colour, Tamdhu 15 Year Old has been matured in American and European Oak Oloroso seasoned casks from the cooperages of Jerez in Spain’s ‘Sherry Triangle’.
Glasgow Distillery announce 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky 2019 Release and unveil forthcoming Peated and Triple Distilled expressions
The Glasgow Distillery Company has announced the return of their 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky, with the 2019 release now available to pre-order via the distillery website.
The distillery has also revealed the launch of two new expressions: 1770 Peated and 1770 Triple Distilled. Together, these three new expressions will collectively form the Signature Range.
The eagerly anticipated return of 1770 follows the highly successful ‘sold-out’ first release in 2018. Matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks, finished in virgin oak and non-chill filtered; 1770 Single Malt is smooth, fruity and complex; a single malt of sublime quality.
With the 2019 Release now available to order with shipping in April, the first Peated expression will be available in late 2019 and the Triple Distilled in early 2020.
Benromach weds heavily peated barley with Sherry casks for limited release Distillery unveils Peat Smoke Sherry Cask Matured
The Benromach Distillery Company Ltd has announced the release of Benromach Peat Smoke Sherry Cask Matured (59.9% ABV), a rich and intense limited-batch expression. Carefully handcrafted using heavily peated Scottish barley, just 6,500 bottles are available in selected markets worldwide from 8th March 2019.
Matured in First Fill Sherry hogsheads and laid down in 2010 before being bottled in 2018, Benromach Peat Smoke Sherry Cask Matured offers whisky lovers elegant fruit flavours while heightening the smoky notes Benromach is known for.
