William Grant and Sons has launched House of Hazelwood, a new blended Scotch inspired by family luminary and matriarch Janet Sheed Roberts
The collection, which features 18yo, 21yo and 25yo variants, will launch exclusively in global travel retail from February 2016 until September 2016.
The presentation carries a strongly feminine look and each expression appears in a 50cl bottle with Recommended retail prices being £50 for the 18yo, £75 for the 21yo and £115 for the 25yo
Many readers will be familiar with Janet Sheed Roberts after William Grant & Sons created just 11 bottles of a Glenfiddich special reserve named after her, one of which was bought by World Duty Free Group for £42,000 (and later sold at Edinburgh Airport for a record £45,000). Proceeds from the sale went to industry-supported charity The Lotus Flower Trust in 2013.
