Yet another sample from the collection i received from David from Glenuntitled, this time a 21 Year Old North British bottled by Robbie Douglas.
A Single Grain whisky from Douglas Laing now thats always going to be something that will intrigue me, the fact it's a 21 Year old from North British even more.
I've really enjoyed lots of the single grain I've tasted recently, and the ladies and gents at Douglas Laing know how to pick a damn good whisky so this is exciting to try.
Special - a word used a little too often in my opinion but this whisky is most definitely Special.
When you get to a certain age whisky tends to not be older than you, or if it is it gets very expensive, so being in my early 40s and drinking a whisky 13 year older than me, this really does make me stop and think.
Another from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society whisky for a year selection from this year as August's bottle was this G1.12 Mouth Puckering Sweetness 23 year old single grain.
