The standard Bains Cape Mountain Whisky, a single grain from South Africas James Sedgwick Distillery, was one of the first drams i reviewed all the way back in 2012 and I was really impressed with it.
Well the Three Ships 10 Year Old was stunning so why not try another from the brilliant James Sedgewick Distillery in South Africa and try a Bains Cape Mountain Whisky a Single Grain from South Africa
Sometimes there are things you see and you go "I need to try that" this was one of them and so i bought a Master of Malt sample of the Three Ships 10 Year old whisky.
A while back a campaign by Mark Hughes (@fr1day) from Whisky Tasting Fellowship to get Three Ships to release more of their maturing whisky resulted in the release of this single cask.
Another recent sample swap this time with Marc Pendlebury from WhiskyBrother has enabled me to sample some more Three Ships South African whisky.
Everytime i try another variation of the Three Ships or for that matter any James Sedgewick Distillery product i fall more and more for them.
