This Glen Deveron, from the MacDuff Distillery, is a really interesting dram and also one I can tick off from Ian Buxton's (@101whiskies) 101 World Whiskies to Try Before You Die.

With Tom out in Dublin and both of us invited to take part in the Douglas Laing #TasteTheRegions Twitter Tasting I stepped up to do some notes and that is where i tried this MacDuff 2007 8yr Provenance.
Macduff, or The Deveron as they call it on the official bottlings due to a copyright issue, is a highland distillery which I've tried a number of times now, the official bottlings are all quite light and subtle, some even describable as a watery.
This time last year I was lucky enough to try a work in progress version of this dram. It was at the same 40% ABV as this one.
A work in progress 12 year old dram from Macduff distillery, this dram is not scheduled for release and may never see the light of day, but it's a pretty decent drinker in my opinion.
