This Jura whisky Tastival is the official Feis Ile Whisky Festival Bottling for 2014, and it's an interesting one for sure.
For the third year running Jura have released a Tastival bottling to celebrate the Jura Tastival which coincides with the Feis Ile on neighbouring Islay.
Every year during the Feis Ile (Islay festival of Whisky and Music) Jura host a day also, they are afterall, very good neighbours.
None of us can really define exactly what makes us love a distillery, or why, and Jura is that distillery for me, i can't say why i love it but i do, the whisky, the place, the story, everything works for me, and I know it doesn't for many others, but thats what makes it all interesting for us.
