The Half Century Blend Batch 1 (The Blended Whisky Company)
Released in late 2016 this Half Century Blend, containing whiskies aged over 50 years and is one i was seriously excited about when the sample arrived.
I've been lucky enough to try the batch 2, batch 3, batch 4 and batch 6 of the Glendronach Cask strength series previously and this batch 6 I was definitely looking forward to. 
Just very recently announced this Benriach Cask Strength Batch 1 bottling has me quite excited as Benriach really are doing some cracking drams and their sister Glendronach Cask Strength batches are all really tasty. BenRiach are delighted to launch the very first edition of its new Cask Strength release.

The lovely sherried goodness from Glendronach is always a dram i enjoy and this 3rd batch from their cracking Cask Strength series is no different.
I only ever managed to get a tiny wee dram of the Glendronach Cask Strength Batch 1 so i was really excited when my Glendronach Cask Strength Batch 2 sample arrived with the postman. (thanks to GlendrLongmorn 1961 Private Collection Casks 508 and 512
