Glen Deveron 10 Year Old
This Glen Deveron, from the MacDuff Distillery, is a really interesting dram and also one I can tick off from Ian Buxton's (@101whiskies) 101 World Whiskies to Try Before You Die.
The nose on this whisky really is stunning but the palate doesnt live up to the nose for me and is a touch watery. There are a few others in the range with the 16, 20 and 30 being available only at Duty Free and after having a wee sample of the 16 i think age works well with this distillery as the 16 really shone both in terms of the nose and palate, i'll do a fuller review of the 16 soon.

OoOoOoOoOoO the nose on this is lovely, starts off with some gentle syrupy sweetness and gets more toffee'd from there going full on treacle, there's a hint of oak but the caramel, treacle sweetness really hides everything else.
quite watery, there's a whole lot of light treacle in here but it has a bit of a growing punch and becomes quite tarte
tarte and warming, not the best taste but drinkable
