Yellow Spot

Yellow Spot After the recent SPSWhiskey Tweet Tasting i really wanted to try this Yellow Spot whiskey

i really enjoyed this whiskey and preferred it to the Green Spot from the Tasting.

You can still pick up a bottle from The Whisky Exchange

huge apple like note, proper crunchy green granny smiths with a touch of rocha pear in there too, quite sweet initially then goes to light grassy notes and some malt loaf with weetabix.

quite malty to begin with then it goes fruity like appletiser and vimto, then more fresh apple and touches of weetabix

long finish, smooth and appley
