Another cracker of a dram via a sample swap with Adrian (@mynameisgone) in the form of this anCnoc 1996.
Replacing the 1994 in the an Cnoc range from Knockdhu distillery, this 1996 vintage has been bottled at 46% without colouring or chill-filtration.
why not drop by The Whisky Exchange and pick up a bottle too.
initially there was a nose of bitter crunchy apples on this, it then goes really sweet with dried fruit (raisins and sultanas) and touches of candy floss, the crunchy btter apple stays there though and a touch of vanilla latte.
candy floss, crunchy peanut butter, vanilla latter and a smattering of spice and oak.
theres a gentle spicy tingle that goes with this one, nice oak finish
