I've had a few Amrut whiskies in the past and enjoyed them, tasted blind it's very difficult to say that it wasn't a Scotch and Amrut Fusion is no different.
Amrut Fusion is distilled from barley from both Scotland and India, thus the name Fusion and is a very nice dram indeed.
This is still available from Master of Malt, pick one up before they disappear.
oOoOoOoOoOo this is really interesting theres an initial note of gentle peat smoke, like passing through a traditional village with peat chimneys pushing out some reek. Some acetone with underlying that is some lovely sweetness and malt and cereal, like a mix of maltloaf and cheerios.
touches of smoke, with crushed peppercorns and herbal leaf, with cheerios and a touch of all bran.
acetone with touch of spice and pepper
