Kamiki Intense Japanese Whisky
A Dekanta exclusive blended malt featuring single malts from around the work which is finished in casks made from yoshino-sugi often referred to as Japanese cedar! This exclusive variant is finished for longer to give it an intense edge.This dram was tasted as part of a tweet tasting featuring Japanese drams from specialist Dekanta.
Very similar notes to the Kamiki this does add an intensity to it, that makes it a little more firey and a little more fun all in one.
Banana fritters in caramel, with toasted white bread and hint of white pepper, this is delicious stuff, utterly gloriously delicious stuff.

Toffee and banana straight off the bat, banana fritters in caramel sauce, with those little sesame seeds all over it, crushed cinder toffee mixing through also, very gentle light dusty notes and light syrup as you spend longer with it
Light sesame toast, banana fritters in caramel again, gently toasted white bread and hints of spiced pears in red wine, and ground pepper as it sits on the palate
