As part of a wee experimentation with blends for a while i picked up a mini of Snow Grouse, the blended grain whisky from the makers of The Famous Grouse.
The company themselves recommend chilling it first and i remembered someone saying to fire it in the freezer and just leave it there, so thats exactly what i done.
Time in the freezer makes it more "gloopy" and a little more like a liqueur consistency wise but it still has that awesome grain nose and palate.
very light and fresh, dewy grass notes, some malted biscuits in there too
light and refeshing, more dewy grass, malted loaf YUM, and a touch of custard creams
large long finish warms back up from the throat
