Rock Oyster Sherry Edition (Douglas Laing)

Rock Oyster Sherry Edition (Douglas Laing) Rock Oyster is one of those drams I often hear friends saying "this is my favourite remarkable regional malt" add in a big dash of Sherry and many will be running around in excitement.

Most people know Sherry matured whiskies aren't the best for me, this is hugely smoky, fruity, doughy and more, a massive punchy dram and one many will love.

In Stock at Master of Malt pop over to pick one up.

Thanks to Douglas Laing for the official sample.

TCP, sticking plasters, BBQd red currant jam, red laces sweets, smoke from a wood fired pizza oven with all the doughy, meaty, vegetable notes that goes with it, smells dry and a little dusty.

Smoky rock samphur, coal tar soap, dry roasted vegetables and salted dark chocolate, very in your face

Drying, salty, smoky, yum
