Deanston Bottle Your Own Amontillado Cask
This Deanston Bottle Your Own Amontillado Cask was distilled in 2004 and bottled at the distillery 10 years later the sample provided by Barry Bradford (@thewhiskyphiles) from The WhiskyPhiles blog
Matured for 9 years in an ex-bourbon cask before being transferred to an ex amontillado cask for the remainder of its maturation.
This is seriously tasty stuff with loads of lovely sweet fruity notes with toffee and butterscotch along with spices of cinnamon and clove.
The balance of sweet and spicy works really well and i really enjoyed this dram.

Now this is interesting it's sweet fresh fruits and Bready notes, there's sweet orchard fruits and hints of melon, it's melon and apple slices on doughy scones, then toffee pennies and butterscotch ice cream
Oh tasty stuff this mixed crushed nuts come first, quite spicy with cinnamon and cloves coming through first then butterscotch ice cream, some hot apple pie with toffee sauce and hints of dark chocolate
