Redbreast All Sherry Single Cask

Redbreast All Sherry Single Cask This recently released and exclusive to The Whisky Exchange single cask sherry cask Redbreast Irish Whiskey really is one I was interested in trying so really happy when this sample arrived.

This is a powerful fruity and tangy dram one that really does show how good Irish whiskey can be and at a higher strength it really shines with a thick oily and waxy mouthfeel.

The price is quite high for a but this 24/25 year old (laid down in 1991) is rare with only 186 bottles produced, and single cask Irish whiskey is difficult to get a hold of.

Only available from The Whisky Exchange

Thanks to Rebreast for the official sample.

Sweet and juicy plums and fig rolls with Demerara sugar and mixed fruit peels with orange, mango and melon peel coming though strongly, it's waxy fruits and a slight hint of gentle oriental spices.

Tangy spiced prunes with cloves and a plate of juicy prunes with fig rolls and then more spices as cinnamon, all spice and paprika come through, tangy waxy orange peel and small citrus fruit peel

Tangy spicy and long lasting
