SMWS 31.25 Banquet for The Wicker Man
This The Scotch Malt Whisky Society 31.25 Banquet for The Wicker Man is from my favourite distillery and although I have drank through a bottle I just realised that I hadn't posted my notes, only after drinking it again with Jon (@dvdbloke) at Dave's (@whiskyrepublic) house did I hunt out my notes.
This is very tasty and the name is very apt, the smouldering hay is really prominent in here, a cracking dram and a great example of single cask expressions from this distillery.
I'm planning again to get to over 100 The Scotch Malt Whisky Society reviews again in 2015 and this is no29 of that, I may not make it as i've been running behind this year but I will be trying as hard as i can to get there.
