Tomatin 18 Year Old
My first review for the website of a Tomatin Whisky and i have to go and pick a cracker for it.
I was a little disappointed to miss out on a sample of the Tomatin 30 Year Old at Whisky Fringe which went on to win the Spirit of the Fringe award so I'll make do with a wee review of the 18year old.
What i will say though is that if the 18 year old is anything to go by the 30 year old must be astonishingly good.
You can pick up the 18 year old via Master of Malt and give it a try yourself.
Dried Fruits, full of sherry goodness, brown sugar topped vanilla custard, not quite the caramalised top of a creme brule with a hint of strong citrus fruits, lemon and lime
more of the sherried dried fruit and vanilla custard, still a hint of tarte fruits
short and smooth with brown sugar
