SMWS G3.7 Sailing Home Under a Smiling Sun
This Edinburgh based closed grain distillery was a lucky choice at Queen St as it was the malt of the month on the bar.
This is a cracker of a dram, sweet and floral, with artificial sweetness and floral gums, I could easily drink my way through a bottle or three of this.
I'm planning again to get to over 100 The Scotch Malt Whisky Society reviews again in 2015 and this is no16 of that, I may not make it as i've been running behind this year but I will be trying as hard as i can to get there.
You can view all of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society drams i've reviewed in 2014 by clicking here and for all the ones in 2015 by clicking here.
If you are a whisky fan you really should consider joining The Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
This is seriously sweet with a fresh floral note hovering over light and fruity syrup with a touch of acetone. Very moreish and enticing with a lovely syrup.
Sweet and fruity, bready, floral, lots of lovely gentle notes of carnations and floral gums
Sweet floral bready, yummy
