Royal Brackla 12 Year Old

Royal Brackla 12 Year Old I’ve not had a huge amount of Royal Brackla in the past, really just an The Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottle and the 16 year old work in progress back when i visited as part of the last great malts tour.

This is sweet and juicy and very drinkable, a bit thin on the palate and finish but it all comes down to price, if this is a good price of £40/45 then it’s worth it more than that i really think it would need to delivery more to be worth the money.

Thanks to Royal Brackla for the official sample

Initially a lot of of malty ness that almost comes across as lightly smoky, menthol and oak woodiness with juicy fruit chewing gum, dragon fruit, papaya, and hints of light syrup and wood sap and mint munchies.

Sweet and malt loaf, hints of wood smoke, light syrup, juicy fruit chewing gum, sweet tropical fruits

Sweet and malty
