SMWS 4.194 Lip Smacking and Mouth Puckering
Back in the early part of 2014 I stated that i wanted to review 100 The Scotch Malt Whisky Society expressions in 2014, and I thought recently that I wouldn't make it but this 98th post (thanks to Barry (@thewhiskyphiles) from The Whisky Philes blog) and others he has passed me samples of means it will happen before Wednesday evening.
This 4.194 Lip Smacking and Mouth Puckering is another example of an ex-bourbon cask from this distillery known for it's ex sherry, it's full of flavour with fruit, vanilla, oak and hints of smoke on the nose and sweet and sour, tangy and chilli on the palate a real eye opener that makes you take a double look at the glass.
You can view all of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society drams i've reviewed in 2014 by clicking here.
If you are a whisky fan you really should consider joining The Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
