Lagavulin Feis Ile 2014
Thanks to Steve (@steveprentice) from Somerset Whisky for sharing this lagavulin 2014 Feis Ile bottle with me.
This lagavuling 2014 Feis Ile bottling is drawn from casks filled in January 1995. Matured in European Oak Sherry Butts, the liquid was personally selected by Lagavulin warehouseman Iain McArthur and was limited to 3,500 bottles.
Lots of smoke as you would expect from Lagavulin but also a cracking honey roast vegetable note and lots of sea salt and maple syrup notes, very yummy dram indeed.

There's a real earthy smoke here with ozone and gentle honey roast root vegetable notes particularly carrots and parsnips slightly salty chips and hand cut ready salted crips
