Another The Scotch Malt Whisky Society mini this time bought around 6 months ago as part of the mini and mug selection which they had at the venues, a fabulous little 59.47 A Dram for Shirley Valentine .
Not had much from this distillery over the years and all that i have has came from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society but i've enjoyed every one of them, lots of fruit and sweet notes along with good balanced wood influence.
If you are a whisky fan you really should consider joining The Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
Tinned fruit salad in syrup has that slightly metallic note from tinned fruit, lots of the cherries from it too, oaky woody notes and pine needles with tree sap and waxy orange oil hints of subtle spices tickle the nostrils as you sniff deeper
Sweet and sour Chinese pork with chunks of cooked pineapple and sweet tinned,fruit, lots of syrups oily tree sap and waxy orange hints of oak and pine needles and a touch of chilli heat
Sweet and sour, tang-tastics and sweet fruits
