Glen Garioch The Renaissance First Chapter

Glen Garioch The Renaissance First ChapterWe recently mentioned the news from Glen Garioch that they were launching the first in 4 chapters of whisky, with this first chapter being the 15 year old The Renaissance.

This is a very nice dram, lots of fruity juicy sweet flavours and one that i really want a bottle of.

Why not buy yourself a bottle as a treat from The Whisky Exchange or the cheapest ive seen is Hard to Find Whisky to try for yourself?

Many thanks to Glen Garioch for the official sample.

Very light and gentle on the nose a mish mash of gentle lactic mature cheddar and sweet fresh honeydew melon hints of toasted oak and lovely malt biscuits. Becomes more and more fruity as it sits in the glass.

Oh yummy lots of Madagascan vanilla and oak with juicy fruity notes of fresh honeydew melon and sweet floral gums and crushed almonds

Sweet and juicy
